Our history
Dr. Ross Miller and his wife, Elaine, opened Town and Country Animal Clinic at this location in 1968. It started as a mixed large and small animal practice just north of town, outside any city development.
The building was enlarged in 1972 and remodeled again in 2004. Over the years Dr. Miller worked with a number of associate veterinarians, among them Dr. Ann Weston, who joined and bought the practice in 1996. Dr. Weston is a graduate of the OSU and WSU veterinary colleges. Dr. Miller and Elaine stayed on staff until 1997.
Dr. Weston has worked with several associates since, including Dr. Tracy Castor, who was a technician here for over ten years before returning as a veterinarian, and Dr. Tim Hazzard, who first came here for his veterinary preceptorship as a senior OSU student in 2008.
Today Dr. Weston runs a predominantly small animal practice that also cares for horses and exotic patients.
Our philosophy
We want everyone, two legged or four, to feel welcome the moment they walk in. Our motto is simple: treat every client as though they were family, and every patient as though they were our own.
