Exotic pet medicine and surgery
Rabbits, pocket pets, ferrets, birds, snakes and lizards.
Stand-in photo There is a lot of information about exotic pets online, and it is hard to know what to trust. You can rely on our experience with the animals many clinics do not see.
Rabbits
Prone to overgrown teeth, hairballs and parasites, and good at hiding pain. Call us if anything seems off.
Gerbils, guinea pigs and hamsters
Their teeth grow all their lives and often need trimming; we can also advise on chews and diet.
Ferrets
A yearly exam lets us monitor the changes ferrets are prone to.
Snakes
Respiratory, digestive and liver problems, and parasites, are common; regular checks help.
Iguanas and other lizards
Nutrition problems are common. Book a nutrition consultation and we will go through diet and habitat.
Birds
Checkups and diet advice for pet birds.
